Teamwork • Tone • Tenacity™

During a recent JINSA-sponsored visit to Israel to meet with National Security Leaders, I had the honor of meeting with members of Israel’s “Brothers For Life.”  They are a non-profit organization, created and run by injured Israeli veterans, which gives critical and immediate help to other injured Israeli combat veterans who sacrificed their lives for the safety of their nation.  They have several counterpart organizations in the U.S.  We visited their center in the Tel Aviv suburbs and heard moving testimonials to the organization’s effectiveness from two of it’s members, Yosef Abramson and Ross Kazer, who hails from Crofton, MD and...

Last week, the Greatest [Quarterback] of All Time (GOAT), Tom Brady, was inducted into the New England Patriots’ Hall of Fame (also had his #12 number retired and was informed a 12’ statue of him will be erected outside Gillette Stadium).  As a New York Giants and Jets fan, I never rooted for Tom Brady … but I sure did respect him.   And I really respected his induction speech at Foxboro.   It was pure “T3!” Some specific excerpts:   TEAMWORK: “Nobody individually hangs those six banners up there. The team does. Here in New England, it’s always about we, and...

We recently passed the 100-day mark of the horrific terrorist attack, murders, sexual atrocities, and kidnappings of Israeli citizens by Hamas. Israeli efforts to destroy this terrorist organization and safely recover their hostages continue, while others in America reflect on this tragedy and are coming to grips with a new wave of antisemitism in the U.S. and around the globe. This new calendar year allowed for a moment of reflection, and I thought back to my attendance at a historic rally in Washington, DC, supporting Israel in early November. I am Jewish, a former member of the U.S. military, one who...
